Latest PM Kisan News: 24th Instalment Update
According to the press information bureau (PIB), Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to release the 24th installment of PM Kisan on 30 October 2026 from Banaskantha, Gujarat.
- More than 9.34 crore farmer families are expected to benefit.
- More than ₹18,690 crore is scheduled to be transferred through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).
- Eligible beneficiaries will receive ₹2,000 in this instalment.

Farmer should check their beneficiary, and payment detail on the official portal. Scheduled release does not necessarily means every beneficiary’s bank account has already been credited.
What Is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana?
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) are Central Government scheme launched February 2019.
Under this scheme, eligible land holding farmer receives ₹6,000 annually. The amount is divided into three installments of ₹2,000 each and transferred directly to their bank accounts.
The main objective is to help the farmer manage the agriculture expense and support their household needs.

Steps to check PM Kisan status:
- Visit the official PM Kisan website.
- Find the Farmers Corner section.
- Click on Know Your Status.
- Enter your PM Kisan registration number.
- Complete the captcha verification.
- Request and enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
- Your account details and available payment information will appear on the screen.

PM Kisan Yojana Eligibility Criteria
Before applying, farmers should understand the basic eligibility requirement.
- Application should belong to a eligibility landholding farmer family.
- The family must own agricultural land and the family must have that cultivable agricultural land recorded in the applicable land records.
- Aadhaar authentication and required verification must be completed.
- Applicants must provide correct bank account and land details.
- Certain categories, including institutional landholders and specified government employees, professionals and income-tax payers, are excluded under scheme rules.
